Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers fantastic views from the rooms and is in a great location, providing an amazing perspective of the bay, fish farms, and local hillsides. However, the view overlooking a dolphin holding pool was a bit sad. The rooms are comfortable and offer beautiful night views of the bay.
I was warmly greeted by two ladies who apologized profusely that our room wasn't ready yet, but that didn't dampen my excitement. The Yukatas provided in two sizes were a nice touch inside our rooms, making us feel right at home.
The hotel is in an amazing location on a small island reached by a shuttle boat, offering breathtaking views and surrounded by nature, yet with all conveniences close by. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with ensuites, providing a tranquil and serene stay. However, the service was disappointing, with a lack of helpfulness and flexibility. The dining experience is traditional and satisfactory, and the facilities are well-maintained and adequate.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with stunning sea views of the idyllic fishing port of Kii-Katsuura. The ferry ride to the port was a fun experience with beautiful bay views and the Kumano mountains as a backdrop. The service was friendly and generous, although slightly inflexible at times. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful island setting just a short boat ride away from all necessary conveniences. The traditional Japanese dining was excellent, especially for seafood lovers.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a spacious room offering a spectacular view of the ocean, bay, fish farms, and hills. The room was clean, pleasantly scented, and authentically Japanese. The service was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience throughout. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature yet conveniently accessible. The dining options were varied, offering a mix of Japanese and Western cuisines. The facilities were excellent, contributing to a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay.
